First off what is Castle?

Castle is all about Richard Castle. He is a successful mystery writer. He is very well known in the world for his amazing horror mysteries. Think Sherlock Holmes but more focused on the actual murder instead of solving the crime. The crimes are very vividly depicted from the murder's aspect--how he will choose to plan them out step and step and then how he will get away from them.

But here's the problem--now people are killing using Castle's techniques. Uh oh. Castle ingeniously thinks up what would be a plausible passable perfect crime and then gets famous for it. But what if that crime really happens? Then he just created the means to a perfect crime.

Obviously the police will naturally suspect that he was the one to do it. I suppose in the real world they would also suspect some crazy fan of doing it. But nonetheless there is a serious argument that he is the cause of the crime. Sure, the crazy nut fan is the one who carried it out but he drew up a murder plan so well layed out that the police couldn't catch the criminal.

It's like somebody writing about how to defraud millions of American investors and then insisting he had no part of Enron. It's an incredible interesting back story and as soon as the episodes come up and we can watch castle online then I'm going to post my summaries of all the episodes and we can talk about what's going on.
